My Story

I’ve never quite felt like I had everything figured out — and that’s part of what led me to this work!

My early experiences, alongside my degree in Education and Childhood & Youth Studies, sparked a deep interest in understanding people — particularly how we navigate difficult emotions, life changes, and the pressure to “have it all together.” At University, I also completed voluntary work where I supported young people reaching out for support in some of their most vulnerable moments. It was here I really saw the power of being listened to and truly heard.

Since then, I’ve spent several years working in wellbeing roles within further and higher education, supporting people one-to-one through anxiety, low mood, identity struggles, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I’ve worked in a trauma-informed way and alongside neurodiversity, and I’ve supported many people through those early (and often overwhelming) stages of adulthood — when so much feels uncertain.

Over time, this work led me to train as an integrative counsellor. My experience of discovering my own identity, navigating studies and my career, juggling relationships and becoming a mother means that I now bring both my professional experience and my own understanding of life’s ups and downs into the counselling space.

As someone who understands the realities of juggling different roles and expectations, I offer a space where you don’t have to hold it all together. My approach is warm, gentle, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in making sense of your experiences, reconnecting with yourself, and finding a way forward that feels right for you.

Above all, I aim to create a space where you can be yourself — openly, honestly, and without judgement.

Outside of my work, I'm currently enjoying yoga, running and spending time with my family.
